The key to mold control is moisture control.
•If mold is a problem in your home, you should clean up the mold promptly and fix the water problem
•It is important to dry water-damaged areas and items within 24-48 hours to prevent mold growth

What to expect from the Nash Everett?
•We will be working with you to determine times that we will be on-site to complete our work
•All of our workers are trained in mold remediation and most are also licensed asbestos workers. Each has completed an extensive OSHA required medical evaluation and each has workers compensation insurance as provided by the Nash Everett. Each worker and supervisor at your residence is employed by Nash Everett. We do not sub-contract out our remediation work.
•You will be provided with a list of contacts that you can call if you should have any questions that cannot be addressed on site.
•The work that the Nash Everett will provide will only be the work items as approved and as listed in the bid, or Scope of Work. Any modifications to the work will need to be approved and listed on a Change Order Form and signed by all parties.
•The remediation work will be performed inside of a negative pressure containment equipped with HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filtered air scrubbers. This will contain any mold and mold spore disturbances and keep them from spreading to other parts of your home that are not included in the Scope of Work. After the remediation work is complete, this containment will need to remain in place until clearance results are achieved.
•A final clearance test is typically performed at the end of the mold remediation activities. There are occasions when this test does not pass clearance the first time. If this is the case, then Nash Everett will return to the containment area and perform additional remediation activities, such as wiping of surfaces, scrubbing of air or more removal if needed. If clearance fails a second time, the insurance company, or the original testing firm should return and perform further investigation to determine the cause of such failures. It is likely at this point that the Scope of Work will need to be modified due to items not included in the original laboratory recommendations.
•After clearance tests are run, it may take up to 14 days for the results to be returned. However, most test results are received within 3 days. Our company is not involved in the testing portion of your job. A third-party firm hired by yourself or by your insurance company does this. Between the end of remediation and the return of clearance results, someone from our company will stop by your home periodically to check the containment and equipment. After clearance is received, we will return to your home or business to remove the containment and equipment.
•We will keep you continually posted of your progress, any changes or additional information that might develop as the job progresses.
Upon final clearance test and payment, we will provide a bound document for your records outlining all phases of the job.
